Why doesn't MCHITCH have a trailer hitch for my motorcycle... ?

Probably because no one has asked us for it yet.  We are currently developing a lot of new hitches.  The order these are released for sale to the public depends on the number of requests we get for each type/style of hitch

Who is MCHITCH ... ?

We started out over 10 years ago making motorcycle trailer hitches and trailers for ourselves and a few friends.  As time passed more people started asking if we could build a trailer hitch for their motorcycle.  We have built trailer hitches for Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, and Yamaha motorcycles. As the number of requests went up we decided it was time to offer these top quality motorcycle hitches at the lowest possible price to the public.  We are now able to mass produce trailer hitches for Harley Davidson motorcycles, and are currently developing trailer hitches for Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda motorcycles.  If you are looking for a trailer hitch  for your motorcycle and don't see it listed in our products, please contact us.  It could be just around the corner from being released to the public.

Why do my turn signals flash rapidly ...?

I have a 2006 H-D Electra Glide, with a trailer wiring concern. When I hook up the trailer to the bike all the trailer lights work like they are suppose to. My concern is that the next trip that I take with the bike without the trailer. My turn signals act up, They blink fine for about 3 seconds then very rapid. At this time I can disconnect the trailer wire harness from the bike and it make no difference. I think it has to do with the TSSM module, but not sure. Has anyone run into this concern??

You are correct. That is a common problem with all Harleys that have the TSSM.
What it is telling you is there is a fault (burned out bulb) when you reduce the load (remove the trailer) on the circuit.

Here is a reset procedure;

Grab a handful of brake, turn on ignition, turn on left signal and let flash 4 times, turn off. Do the same with the right signal and then the 4 way flashers. When finished turn off ignition and release the brake. Wait 2 min. and start the bike. It should be normal.

To avoid doing this procedure every time you disconnect the trailer you can install a powered converter/isolator. What this does is removes the load from the light circuit and takes it directly from the battery. It will also protect the bikes circuit in the event the trailer lights short out.

I have a 2002 Ultra Classic and experienced the same problem. The converter I chose was the Hoppy 46255. You can find it in any auto parts store for around 30 to 40 dollars. There are other converters out there that will do the same job.

Depending on your trailer light set-up there may be a problem. The converter is a 5-wire bike to 4-wire trailer set-up. Since my trailer had independent turn signal lights, I ran the brake light wire around the Hoppy not thru it. I then used a 5-wire flat connector to the trailer. Everything works just as it was designed.

I hope this helps, and as you can see I tried to answer any new questions that this response may have raised.

One last thing, if you haven't done this already, I added an independent pigtail wire harness between the bike and Hoppy. That way when I want to wire a new bike, it's a five minute job to disconnect the harness from the old bike and hook it up to the new bike.
