Heritage Softail Harness Installation Instructions
Remove the seat.
Undo the plug shown below and
install the MCHITCH Wiring Harness Plugs between them. Attach ground wire to a
good ground source (bolt)
Route the wires to the rear of
the bike
Be careful to place wires where
they will not get pinched or rub on sharp objects.
Attach the plug (not supplied) to
the end of the harness that matches the plug on your trailer. (This step is not necessary
if using a MCHITCH Isolator / Converter Harness)
Use plastic ties (not included)
to secure the wires.
Attach positive wire to 12v
source (battery) if using a MCHITCH Isolator or Isolator / Converter Wiring Harness. Replace the seat.
