Yamaha V-Star 1300 Trailer Hitch Installation Instructions

Remove saddlebags if installed.

Remove the top 2 bolts for the saddle bag mounts. 

Slide the hitch side plate between the saddlebag mount and secure using (2) M8 X 1.25 X 75 mm bolts.

Repeat the above steps for the other side.

Install the base plate to the 2 side plates using the 4 carriage bolts nuts and washers. Insert the ball mount ube and secure with the ½" bolt nut and cotter pin.  Tighten all bolts. (be sure to tighten the ½" bolt to eliminate all receiver rattle).  Replace the saddlebags.
